Abstract
Risk reduction is recognized as essential for building a more equitable future and for reducing the severity of loses during disasters. The study was puposely to evaluate the Disaster Risk reduction Management Program (DRRMP) implementation of selected secondary schools in the Division of Quezon City and the mechanism to be developed to further improve the program.

The study employed the Descriptive Research Method since it is the most appropriate method to determine the status of implementation in terms of objectives, resources, budgetary requirements and hindering factors which served as the basis for the evaluation through the use of survey questionnaires.

The findings revealed that the evaluation of the School Heads and the SDRRM Coordinators on the DRRMP implementation is Excellent. However, several challenges and opportunities were encountered by the respondents specifically the insufficiency of funds as reflected in the gathered data.
Moreover, the researcher concluded the both the School Heads and the SDRRM Coordinators in the secondary was fairly knowledgeable and shared similar evaluation is Excellent on the DRRMP implementation as to objectives, methods and strategies and resources.
Finally, it is highly noted in the recommendations that the DRRMP allocation may be included in the School Improvement Program (SIP) and must establish linkages and strong connection to stakeholder toward the solution of insufficiency of funds. Futhermore, Secondary Schools must continuously conduct risk reduction and disaster preparedness such as virtual or in-person seminars, trainings or workshops for school heads, coordinators and teachers at least thrice a year to optimize their knowledge and skills in disaster-related matters thru inviting experts, eloquent and seasoned resource speakers.
