Abstract
As the globe in the midst of a pandemic , education has evolved from traditional face-to-face learning to online or remote blended learning to assure learning continuity . Because of this, the ability of students to communicate and engage with their instructors and classmates significantly impacted their social development. This study aimed to identify the effectiveness of online collaboration learning activities at Masambong Elementary School in Improving Grade 1 Learners' Mathematics skills and competencies. The data were gathered by giving survey questionnaires to primary school teachers who are knowledgeable and valuable for the project's implementation , which were then analyzed and interpreted using descriptive correlation. While the pandemic posed as a severe hindrance to various academic activities , the results revealed that online collaboration can be used to maintain learning in a new environment. The findings suggested that teachers should continuously upgrade their skills and proficiencies by attending capacity building training programs and post graduate education. This is significant as professional development is necessary for teachers to equip themselves and cater seamlessly to the needs of 21st century learners. Teachers should be able to develop and improve their digital literacy as it is crucial to help students become lifelong learners. It teaches them essentials life skills as well as academic skills. The teachers' digital literacy can engage students in the process of learning in all aspects to utilize the digital learning resources. which emphasizes the real-world applications of various vital skills.
