With the challenges posed by the Covid-19 pandemic, the Department of Education produced a Basic Education-Learning Continuity Plan(BS-LCP), a collection of activities designed to address the issues raised by Covid-19. As part of this, the Central Office made high quality learning resources available, or the Division developed them locally, and the relevant platforms or technologies were engaged and made accessible in a fast and efficient manner. Schools on the other hand, had a lot of school-based learning resources that were also used in combination with the provided modules which helped bring about sound academic performance to the learners, but some materials remained unutilized due to the schools being inaccessible to learners during the pandemic. Maligaya Elementary School Online Learning Resource Center (MES OLRC) enabled the school to upload the school-based learning resources in the school's OLRC Website, managed by the learning resource coordinator, learning resource master teacher and school library teacher in charge. The Online Learning Resource Center was established and was made functional on the last week of March. The cost of the innovation was the internet access used by the learning resource coordinator and the OLRC team in uploading the materials, which is a part of the school's and proponents' monthly internet bill. The uploaded materials were made accessible in the website which was easily by teachers and learners through the use of their dededqc.ph accounts.
