Abstract
The purpose of the study is to determine the Child Protection Policy Program Implementation in selected schools in Quezon City, as a basis for an enhancement program. The descriptive research design was utilized using purposive sampling technique. The findings of the study showed that 54.4% of the respondents believe that Child Protection Policy is highly exercised in most schools. The data also depicted that in terms of duties and responsibilities, in implementing the program the respondents confidently believe that the school and the school personnel are their roles in maintaining peace and order inside the school premises by doing their tasks on the implementation of Child Protection Policy program. Based on the data, there is no significant difference on the assessment of the respondents on the implementation of the child protection policy program in terms of duties and responsibilities. On the establishment of Child Protection Committee, as far as the significant difference on the assessment of the respondents on the implementation of child protection policy is concern, the hypothesis is accepted based on the respondents' response. The study proved that the collaboration between the different stakeholders such as LGUs, NGOs and GPTAs for the protection of children can be concretized by establishing clear, functioning mechanisms for violation on the child protection policy.
