Abstract
This action research was conducted to find out the impact of school gardening experience of selected Grade V pupils on their beliefs and attitudes towards learning.
Specifically the study sought to know the beliefs and attitudes and the effect of the knowledge and attitudes of selected Grade V pupils in the school gardening experiences towards learning in EPP subject.

Forty three selected Grade V pupils of Masambong Elementary School were used as respondents of the research.

Interview and questionnaires were used as tools to gather needed data and information as means to elicit the needed data. The researcher also used teacher weekly log to monitor the and confirm the observation needed to validate the effect of
school gardening. This is to ensure validity of the information data gathered.

Moreover, he also used actual observation, gestures etc. of the respondents.

Findings of the study showed that Learning become meaningful and teaching become easy when the children exposed to hands-on experiences like gardening in the
teaching learning process. Pupils achieved greater if they used experiential education learning or the real life situation was a high impact method to foster
learning capabilities in EPP subject. Gardening activities motivated and engaged
pupils to learn without forcing them to learn.

The study revealed that learning comes easily if we know how to deal with the situation and the needs of the learners to learn. The result of interviews, survey and observation revealed that during the implementation of the program pupils showed
concern and really want to experience school gardening that benefits them.
