Abstract
Many changes have happened in our educational realm. The teaching strategies and methodologies were challenged because of these changes and situations. The pandemic caused by Covid 19 challenged educators to deliver to the students a different platform. The teachers and students were both unprepared. However, the Department of Education implemented measures to stand up to the unforeseen challenges of the educational situation that is happening presently. With this, blended learning and different modalities were introduced. Different Pedalogical methods and strategies were used in our schools. Face to face classes were converted to an online system and the modular concept. Technology was applied, specifically the Google Classroom, Google Meet, and the Facebook/Messenger . These were helpful tools to reach out to students and experience learning and avoid failing marks. However, failing marks were evident and unavoidable . One of the reasons was difficulty in turning-in of their outputs.

Our PROJECT SHINE specifically aimed to help the students increase their knowledge in using the Google Classroom and how to turn-in their works and outputs. If they could properly submit their works and outputs , minimal failures are possible because their efforts are acknowledge and seen by their teacher. Hence, though there may be educational challenges nowadays , our students rose to the situation, The focus of Project Shine were the Grade 8 students in Araling panlipunan to alleviate them from failing grades. Through Project Shine they were guided properly in turning-their output. The students performed well and they were empowered because they believe they could do more.
