Abstract
Improving academic performance during this pandemic seems to be a tedious task for teachers. With these thoughts in mind, the proponents sought the help of the parents and guardians who are the constant companions of the students confined nowadays in their respective homes.

It was conducted to 15 Grade 7 students of Sergio Osmena Sr. High School in Quezon City A.Y.2020-2021 who were chosen on a particular section with samples of low grade level referring to score and performance activities through universal sampling technique.

The data were gathered and analyzed by utilizing a 25-item teacher-made test given before and after the utilization of parents-as-facilitator in the research using the mean standard deviation and paired sample t-test. The result revealed that leaners under study were observed to be moving towards mastery and there is a small effect in the overall performance of the student.

After the data were collected, the result was moving towards mastery from average rating. Students were believed to be well versed in lessons regarding dressmaking stitches and parts of the sewing machine which are prerequisite skills in performing machine sewing.
