The overall purpose of this study is to find ways of determining the different factors of students absenteeism in their respective classes, based on our research problem, where are going to find out the root causes of chronic absenteeism of students, and the second problem is finding ways were in this chronic problem of truancy, will be dealt with. This study will used the descriptive method and survey forms for the respondents to fill-up and generate their responses, based on the questions on the survey forms. In the final analysis of the study it was found out that among the different factors that contributed most for students' absenteeism were health, classroom atmosphere and home related problems.

It was also found out based on the result of this study that classroom atmosphere was the most prevalent reason for having a noisy classroom atmosphere that make students misbehaved and to skip his/her class. Another culprit is on the issue of too much household chores, that is students are no longer interested in coming to school because they are already exhausted and tired, followed by personal attitude of being lazy and addiction to computer games. In addition there are students who are afraid to go to school, because they are being bullied by their bigger classmates, and having no money to buy food for their snacks. Some are not capable of going to school alone, that is why they tend to become absent, because their parents can't accompany them to school.
