Abstract
To every student, the new mode of learning which is online learning, is an inherently stressful experience. It could have a psychological, academic, and social impact on them. From this standpoint, the purpose of this study was to investigate the level of stress among Balingasa Senior High School Students in the S.Y. 2021-2022 to evaluate and learn about a students' stress level. Descriptive research was conducted to assess the students' levels of stress on three levels according to sheldon Cohen's (2020) Perceived Stress Scale, which are : Low Stress, Moderate Stress, and High Perceived Stress. The 10-item PSS standardized-questionnaire was administered to the 88 Balingasa SHS Students who served as this study's respondents using stratified random sampling. The results revealed that there was moderate level of stress among the students. Aside from that, it was also discovered that there was a significant difference on the level of stress between the student's grouped according to Sex and Strand . The research could theoretically add to the body of scientific knowledge on mental health studies. Practically, the study may also guide Senior High School Communities to take concrete steps toward improving students' stress levels, thereby mitigating the negative impact of stress on student wellbeing and learning outcomes.
