Physical and Sports Development is one of the learners supports that every school should provide. It is a must for every school to offer, but Bungad Elementary School had taken learners Physical and Sports development for granted for years. It is not of any value to teachers, parents and pupils. They tend to focus on the academic performance of the learners, but still fail to perform very well.
Physical and Sports Development should be part of the learners' daily school routine or program. Thirty minutes Zumba before class hours in a day is an easy start. Sports activities after school hours are very engaging. School's drum and lyre training is a very appealing activity for pupils who love to play musical instruments. Annual intramurals and field demonstration would implore parents and community attention.
Physical and Sports activities can be added to the school curriculum without academic magnitudes. It is the missing link to improve Bungad Elementary School pupil's holistic performance.
