Abstract
The study aimed to determine the resilience of selected public elementary school leachers through their self-care practices in the Division of Quezon City during the Academic Year 2021-2022 with the use of descriptive research method by means of survey questionnaires that were transcribed in google forms. A total of 205 elementary teachers who were chosen randomly through purposive sampling were employed as respondents of the study. The findings of the study reveal that the resilience of the teacher-respondents was evident as they sometimes practice self-care in terms of physical, psychological, emotional,
relational, spiritual, and workplace professional. It was also found that there is a significant
relationship between the practice of self-care of the respondents and their age and position; while sex, civil status, and number of years in the service were proven to be otherwise. The
study has its implications in terms of the support and assistance provided by the school,
community, and the Department of Education towards the teachers. It was suggested that teachers should continuously be provided with resiliency and wellbeing programs to ensure
that they practice self-care leading to more resilient educators.
