Abstract
Student's perceptions of the school environment, as well as their desired school climate have a significant influence in defining their lives, including violence, mental health, and wellness. The school environment refers to the norms, goals, values, teaching, organizational structure, and relationships that exist in the school. Connections among students, teachers, staff and the community are all examples of relationships.

This study analyses the correlations between pupil's assessments of their existing and preferred school climate and a number of demographic variables on the basis of students 'views. This study was carried out in the selected public elementary schools in the Division of Quezon City in the 2020-2021 academic year. The sample for the study was composed of 120 pupils who attended different schools. A questionnaire and the school climate scale were used to collect research data. Statistical tool like the weighted mean using the Likert-scle, one-way-Anova, frequency and percentage, Pearson Product Moment Correlation Coefficient, and t-test were used to determine the significant difference between the pupil's assessment of the existing school climate and their preferred school climate, and the relationships between variables. The data was put into qualitative analysis in this study, which used a correlational survey model. The findings demonstrated that there were low and negative significant correlations between pupils' assessments of their existing and perceived school climates. It was also found that supportive teacher behaviours, safe learning environments and positive peer interactions, gender and academic achievement had significant effects on pupil's academic behaviours.
