Abstract
The K to 12 PE Curriculum aspires to develop all valuable 21st-century skills such as creativity, critical thinking, collaboration, and communication (K - 12 DeEd Curriculum). Physical activity has an impact on the development of the brain which will be essential for one's growth and development as an individual.

The main purpose of this study is to assess the level of physical activity of selected grade 9 students of SBHS during the second quarter grading period and find whether the GALAW Galaw program intervention made has a significant effect on the academic performance during online distance learning during the second and third quarters. Other factors such as the strategies of teaching, personal and emotional problems of the students were not included in this action research. This study used an experimental design, participants measured twice on the same dependent variable. The two group scores (grade average during the second and
third quarters) were produced by one group of people to evaluate the effect of an
intervention on their academic performance while in an online class. It involved the collection of data through the validated questionnaire to assess the activity (physical or sedentary) of the participants during the second quarter. The average of the participants during the second and third quarters were analyzed to determine the significant effect of the intervention/program initiated by the researcher.

The study revealed that among the physical activities, participants occasionally
You sent did static exercises, dynamic exercises, running/jogging, Zumba, and biking. The average (second quarter) before the intervention is 83.5 with an increase after the
intervention (third quarter) with a average of 85.33. The study concluded that at a = 0.05, there is sufficient evidence to reject the null hypothesis and accept the alternate hypothesis that there is significant difference between the general average of the participants before and after the GALAW - galaw program.Since physical activity can greatly affect the student's academic performance. P.E. Teachers from other grade levels must be encouraged to develop such type of physical activity program and the utilization of the "Galaw - galaw" program must be
done in all grade levels of San Bartolome High School.
