Abstract
Online Distance Learning o ODL has become a recent trend in education to covid-19. Schools have resorted to varied learning modality to ensure learning continuity. Hence, teachers and parents who have access to local area network or broadband chose this modality in order to deliver instruction. This action research investigated the impact of the community of online parents and educators in overcoming ODL with the use of mixed method of research. The online survey questionnaire and the interview was utilized in the conduct of the study. It was found at the beginning of ODL, both parents and teachers experienced difficulties and frustrations which include their internet connection understanding the directions or the lesson and time management. Consequently, the parents and the teachers were in unison in their agreement of the significant help that they get from other parents as well as the other teachers from their colleagues. More importantly, it was also revealed that the perspective of the parents and the teachers in regard to the ODL made them appreciate technology more and the time that they spend with their family regardless of the challenges. And lastly, both the parents and the teachers also agreed that volunteerism, unity and communication were evident as the effect of the COPE with TLC adapted in the study.
