Abstract
The aim of this research is to create an action plan for a school-based teacher induction program. A teacher who is well prepared in the different facets of life as a teacher in the Department of Education is a strong teacher able to impact changes in the lives of the students. The research is quantitative and descriptive survey in nature. There were a total of 40 respondents, 35 female and 5 male. In terms of position, there are 7 Head Teachers, 6 Master teacher I, 26 teacher 1 and 1 Teacher III

Although all respondents strongly agree that all topics in the Modules 1-6 are important and should be included in the school-based teacher induction program, certain topics like Code of Ethics for Professional Teachers , Personal and Professional Development , Student Inclusion Program, Pedagogies for inclusive education, Understanding the Diversity of the Learners, Building Partnership and Establishing Linkages got the highest mean. In terms of the key Stage topics, Guidelines on Awards and Recognition for the K-12 Basic education Program and Policy Guidelines on Classroom Assessment for K-12 got the highest mean. Other topics of importance include violent behavior of students and reporting such behavior and Working with parents, work ethics, mental health of teachers, and best practices for the learning delivery modalities in the new normal. The respondents preferred that the school based teacher induction program will be carried out on the line and through group discussions.
