Abstract
The major problem of this study was to determine the impact of family environment on academic performance of learners with OFW parent/s, in one of a public elementary schools in Division of Quezon City. The study made use of the descriptive-correlation research design in which standardized instruments were the primary data gathering tool. The respondents of the study were the 208 learners from kinder to grade 6 level. The data were presented using tables and the results of the study were tabulated and processed using statistical packages for social sciences (SPPS). The results of the study revealed that the respondents utilized sometimes on parental involvement on the academic performance of the learners with OFW parents, with the following indicators: Parental Involvements and Home Environment. The data also revealed that on average value of 4.11. Often level of availability of learning materials, like books at home 4.31, magazines at home 3.29, Home devices gadgets that helps you in your studies 4.29 and the Internet/Wi-fi connection at home 4.56. The findings of the study indicated that Home Environment internet/
Wi-fi connection at home bears that the highest impact but the Parental Involvements sometimes the result did influence significantly to the academic performance learners with OFW parents. Thus, the study rejected the null hypothesis which stated that parental involvement does not exert impact on the academic performance of the learners with OFW parents.
