Abstract
The research study assessed the learners' carbon footprint among online junior high school SY 2020-2021 Learners of Batasan Hills National High School before and after intervention. The action research responded with the call for climate education persuant to Republic Act No. 9729 or the Climate Change Act of 2009.

The study utilized a quasi-experimental design to assess if there was a significant difference before and the SIM Intervention entitled One Planet Lifestyle. It was participated by 30 online learner-respondents identified using non-probability purposive sampling technique. Carbon footprint calculator, Survey questionnaire for the level of awareness and practice strategic intervention Material (SIM) were utilized in the study. Statistics such as frequency, percentage ranking and mean were employed to come up with the result of the study. The result showed that 50% of the respondents or 15/30 confined on level 3 a low family income. For the average mean of the carbon footprint of the learner respondents decreased before and after the intervention. The Strategic Intervention Material (SIM) greatly affected the awareness and practices of learner-respondents as shown on their carbon footprint emission after intervention. The Higher mean gain score after the intervention is the key indicator that significant difference existed among the study.
