Project TRAINS is all about using technology resources in Assessment which will measures specifically and appropriately the NUMERACY SKILLS of Grade 1 and 2 Learners. For the past 3 years our school standard assessment for numeracy was undetermined because of inconsistency in the results of rating that we achieved. The expected rate of standard performance for the national achievement test in numeracy was 75% but since 2016 our school was struggling to attain the said standards and from 43.55% numeracy rate last SY 2017-2018 we decreased to 39.55% for the SY 2018-2019 which is now behind far behind of 35.45% to attain the 75%. As an instructional leader I must took into the root cause of the problem and think of a strategy that will support and respond to the needs of my school to increase the numeracy skills of our learners.
