speak is more important than learning how to read. Grammar is a set of rules that govern how

Grammar exists in all languages, and each language has its own grammar. People who speak the same language can communicate because they understand the grammatical system that is, the rules for producing meaning intuitively. Students who are natural English speakers are already familiar with English grammar. They understand the sounds of English words, their meanings, and the various ways to put them together to form meaningful sentences. While students may be proficient in English, they require assistance in becoming proficient writers.
They must learn how to convey their grammatical knowledge.
The proponent being an English teacher have seen the emerging importance of grammar
as a tool and as a foundation deemed very necessary in the learnings of the pupils especially
the grade six learners where they are just a step away from the next level of education which is the high school level

This handbook reviews the eight parts of speech and the underlying principles and rules
in the usage of such in the English language. Varied activities were also given to test how well the learner progress. This is an outcome based handbook aimed in enhancing the grammar skill
of the grade six students. This project was solely done by the proponent and was anchored on different reading materials, concepts, studies, and theories which were incorporated to come up with a handbook.
Further, the proponent did this project at Lupang Pangako Elementary School and took
him almost 3 months to complete the project. The project cost five thousand pesos for printing
and this was shouldered by the proponent.
