Abstract
The purpose of this action research which was conducted in Quezon City High School was to test the Effectiveness of flipped classrooms with the help of EDPUZZLE tool in delivering the lecture to improve learning skills of selected Grade 10 students in English subjects. This likewise aims for self-directed learning resources to support their learning and contribute to improving the academic performance of the students since interactive video lessons were provided even before discussion.

Pretest and posttest were given to the two different sets of respondents who were the 26 students of 10-Lakandula and 24 students of 10- Burgos (experimental and control group) for every module of the third quarter. Responses were analyzed using the two-paired tailed test. The results of the study showed that flipping the classroom with the help of EDPUZZLE tool in delivering the lectures to the learners is effective in improving learning skills in English subjects.

There is a significant difference in improving learning skills in English subjects between the traditional way and using EDPUZZLE tool in delivering the lecture. The findings stressed that the results of the test given to the experimental and control group have significant differences. It is proposed that teachers should consider using the EDPUZZLE tool in delivering the lecture/lesson to the learners to improve their student's academic performance since it promotes self-directed learning that supports student's own understanding of the lesson.
