Abstract
The Digitization of Reading Enhancement and Accessible Materials (DREAM) to
Intensify Learners* Reading Comprehension is the compilation of digitized English reading materials using powerpoint slide with 5 to 6 constructed comprehension questions every after the end of the story, passage, or selection. It is adaptable and suitable for our Online Reading session that was done weekly with the Grade Four English teachers to their respective learners in the same grade level. This was to address the increase of struggling readers in the school. It the best way of identifying, guiding, propelling their reading ability, and enhancing their comprehension in the English language. At times of remote or distant learning wherein face to face reading was
strictly prohibited the proponent came up with online English reading enhancement with
You sent prepared digitized reading materials coming from different hard print resources. It is transforming that reading must be continued to implement even at challenging times though pandemic.

Teachers exerted effort, time, and resources to encode the story, passages, or selections from hard print to digital form through PowerPoint slide presentation. Also, teachers constructed comprehension questions based on the passages. It was easier and comfortable to utilize both teachers and learners to use this kind of digital reading materials as compared to
the hard print that it cost much for photocopying and distributing.

Teachers met their learners through Google Meet and learners were grouped into boys and
girls to cater individual reading and save time and internet data consumption for learners.
Teachers read first the passage following the principles and characteristics of effective oral reading so that learners would listen and emulate. Teachers called the learners one by one to read the passage with proper guidance in oral reading. After the whole group of learners read the passages, questions were followed and appeared on their screen with choices using their
show me board or illustration board with open camera as possible. This project was started in the first quarter up to the fourth quarter of the school year 2021-2022. It cost for about Twenty-Thousand pesos for internet consumptions and for furnishing the hard drive.
