Abstract
In this study, the use of both egg shells and lime are very essential in soil enhancement . The two ingredients were tested by putting them together in a vegetable plot. Aside from using compost, it is also good for soil to be treated with lime and sprinkled with crashed eggshells. Egg shells made primarily from calcium carbonate, the chemical compound which is also makes up the majority of sea shells, as well as chalk and limestone. Nanoparticles of calcium carbonate are arranged into ordered crystals by proteins, eventually forming the calcite mineral that makes up the shell isn't actually completely solid- it has thousands of tiny pores, around 9,000 on average, which allow gases to pass in and out.

Based on the studies Lime is a soil amendment made from ground limestone rock, which naturally contains calcium carbonate and magnesium carbonate . When lime is added to soil, these compounds work to increase the soil's pH, making soil less acidic and more alkaline.

We all known that soil is the backbone of our food security . Without healthy soils, farmers wouldn't be able to provide us with feed, fiber, food , and fuel. It maintains adequate aeration for plants, providing oxygen for microbes, insects and plant roots. Healthy soils also provide farmers with better crop yields and protect plants from stress. Vigorous soil is full of organism that turn dead matter and minerals into vital plant nutrients.

One of the problems encountered in the Gulayan sa Paaralan Program, here in San Gabriel Elementary School is inadequate source of good soil. In order to sustain the program, we need to buy commercial soil for gardening . And to address the problem the researchers find ways to minimize the expenses for the soil.

Gulayan sa Paaralan Program is one of the main projects each schools has to lessen the large numbers of wasted and severely wasted. And to address the problem, the school needs to implement its School-Based Feeding Program. This aims to eliminate the absenteeism of pupils and increase their academic performance.

And to successfully maintain the smooth implementation of SBFP, the schools needs it support by implementation of the Gulayan sa Paaralan Program. The harvests are best source of nutrition which will be given to the beneficiaries . the GPP needs to produce varieties of indigenous and high value vegetables.

One of the plant's basic needs is air. The other air necessary for plants is good air circulation. This is more passive need than the air they metabolize, but vital nonetheless. Plants that are crowded are at risk from several fronts. Tights spacing hinders evaporation A constantly damp location harbors plant diseases such as powdery milk dew and black spot. Pests like aphids , scale and slugs thrive in these damp, calm environments. Also, without flexing in the occasional breeze and stems do not develop proper rigidity, but remain weak.
