Project " TECHY AKO" as The School's Innovation to our Learning continuity plan aims to improve and deliver quality education through utilization of available resources amidst this pandemic.

The objectives of the project " TECHY AKO" is to provide a training to teachers and pupils in learning delivery specially with different tools apps they can use in their classes. This may also serve as skill enhancement and practices for teachers' technical competence of in delivery of learning through the use of different apps learning.

Now a days we are now in a new world , from face to face to distance learning education, virtual class through different platforms we can communicate our children, our pupils through social media platform like Facebook, messenger , zoom, google meet and many more platforms just to reach them. the transition of education is really amazing, Changing teaching materials into digital materials in a very short moment is a big challenge to the teachers. And we all know, the reality that most of the teachers now a days is not what we call in millennial age. They prefer more on paper and pencil activities, board and chalk activities. This kind of education challenges many teachers to go with the flow, to cope up the needs of every pupils, that's why they are very willing to learn. It is essential for teachers to continually advance their understanding about digitalization . It is even more imperative due to the needs of learners in adherence to the growing advancement of technology in their learning.

The proponent set time and schedule to have a training of teachers about different apps and social media platforms, that may help the teachers in their online class teaching since Placido Del Mundo is adapted blended education as modality in school learning continuity plan, the online distance learning and modular distance learning.

The proponent seek help from the school coordinators for the topic that can help and enhance the skills and abilities of teachers in technologies and applications that can make their class more engaging and motivating that can capture the interest of children or pupils to continue their study despite many challenges were encountered.

All teachers of Placido Del Mundo attended the trainings because they believe that this training can boost their confidence to teach online and they can learn different strategies that they can used in their teaching online class. This training was done through google meet to follow the safety and health protocols during public health emergency ( COVID-19) . it covers 4 days of training and be subject to the no-disruption-of-classes policy stipulated in DepEd order No 9, s. 2005 entitled Instituting Measures to Increase Engaged Time-on-Task and Ensuring Compliance. The project cost less because we are so lucky that all teachers in Division of Quezon City received Globe Wi fi modem with monthly free load, it is very helpful and useful to us in teaching pupils and attending virtual trainings or webinars, we don't need to buy load anymore . And additional to that, LGU also provide laptop to some teachers that they can use to make lessons, videos presentations and many more. The proponent seek donors for the additional material such as v8 condenser, to enhance the sounds and make clearer during trainings , and headsets also for the noise cancellation that might heard during trainings. this material additional gadget can be put in the ICT room and can be used by other teachers too.
