Abstract
The purpose of this study is to assess their content-knowledge in the different subject areas (such as English, Filipino, Math, Science and Araling Panlipunan) and pedegogical competence based on the Results-based Performance Management System (RPMS) - Philippine Professional Standards for Teachers (PPST) indicators as per DepEd Memorandum No. 36 series of 2006 in selected public elementary schools of Quezon City Division. The finding revealed that there is as significant relationship between the Teachers-Respondents' Assessment knowledge and pedagogical competence based on the Philippines Professional Standards for Teacher (PPST) Indicators. Teacher induction programs. In this way, the real needs of teachers who are part of the program will be addressed properly. Problems such as giving lessons to huge number of classes, non-readers, and professional teachers without professional experiences can be considered, Since there is a positive relationship between the TIP and the TIP and teachers' work performance , activities such as capability buildings for teachers;, content-seminars, in-service trainings and other activities that will improve the capacity of teachers related pedagogical improvement and content-upgrade must be institutionalized in the division.
