Abstract
This study investigated the different interventions to fight many factors of Absenteeism for the Grade 1 pupils of the school. Absenteeism is a personal problem of Grade 1- Daisy adviser in the school.

This action research investigated the different interventions to fight factors of Absenteeism in Grade 1-Daisy adviser in the school.

The Grade 1- Daisy class obtained 63% absentees of the total number of pupils in which it has most number of absentees for the whole Grade 1 pupils. Based on the study the distance of the house from the school, poverty, illness, and parents/family related issues are the factors that contribute to absenteeism.

The data revealed that interventions like sending letters for the parents, home visitations, monthly meeting, attendance chart, recognition on perfect attendance, remediation and feeding program reduced number of absentees for the Grade 1- Daisy class wherein based on daily attendance 94% of the pupils in the class are present.

Absenteeism has a greater impact on the Academic Performance of the students of the Grade 1- Daisy.

It was suggested that parents should guide their children and be good models, and pay a serious attention on any problems or matters with regards to their children.
