The students in the elementary level are being taught basic agriculture in their Edukasyon Pantahanan at Pangkabuhayan subject. The learners need to experience the actual proper way of planting and taking care of plants and vegetables (agriculture) and also fish raising (aquaculture). Hydroponics were also introduced which is planting plants and vegetables without soil. In order to save space and water, it is much better to combine both hydroponics and aquaculture in one system. The combination of this is called aquaponics where the plants and fish are taken care off at the same time. This kind of system is a great help to have an enough and stable supply of food. Establishing a fishpond in the rural areas is not a problem but in urban areas it's a big problem, because there is not enough space. Even the public school are not spared from this problem. But as a teacher, I need to find solution for this problem and making a concrete pond aquaponics system will answer this problem. The Concrete Pond Aquaponics system will be made from old concrete ponds, water containers or drum and PVC pipes. The realization of this innovation will take four months. The material needed in this project will come from the fund of the researcher and non-government institution.
