The wizard of Oz is a magical tale about the adventures of a little girl, Dorothy, who, together with her little dog, Toto, gets whisked away by a cyclone into a fantastic world filled with witches, both good and bad, and other interesting characters. On her journey, Dorothy becomes friends with the Scarecrow, who wishes to have brains; a Tin Woodman, who desires a heart; and a Cowardly Lion, who wishes to have courage. Meanwhile, all Dorothy wants is for her and Toto to make ot back home to Kansas. They all make their way through the yellow brick road to the Emerald City, to see the Great OZ and ask him to grant their wishes.
Summary: But before he grants their wishes, the Great Oz asks them to embark on a dangerous mission. Furthermore, the Great Oz holds a big secret, which could jeopardize all their dreams. Will Dorothy and her friends ever get what they asked for? Recreated as a classic film in Hollywood and a musical on Broadway, L. Frank Baum's story has survived the years and remains a beloved favorite of children, across generations.
